Antique Fairground Jeu De Massacre knock down target

A fantastic example of a 19th century carved wood Jeu de Massacre. A fairground game from France, the jeu de massacre was a common game in French fairgrounds were figures of local or national figures or enemy's or even even mother in laws were hinged on a platform and balls were thrown to knock them down. They are becoming more scarce to find and this is a great example. Please look at my other listings as I have listed 7 more for sale.
